The latest pocket Personal Computer (PC) from Toshiba, launched in Europe this month, will shortly be available in the Middle East, the first time that a Toshiba hand-held system has been sold in the region.
The super-thin 12-millimeter design weighs only 140 grams is based on a 206 MHz Intel StrongARM processor, which has a secure digital expansion slot to increase on-board memory from 32 MB to 288 MB or allow Bluetooth cable-free connectivity to other mobile devices and the Internet.
The Pocket PC e310 should reach Middle East retailers early in May, according to Ahmed Khalil, regional sales manager of Toshiba's Dubai-based computer systems division. — (menareport.com)
