A senior U.S. Treasury official will visit Baghdad on Tuesday and hold meetings with Iraqi officials about the country's financial institutions, the U.S. Embassy said.
U.S. Treasury Under Secretary for International Affairs John Taylor, who was in London over the weekend representing the United States at the Group of Seven summit of rich nations, is also scheduled to hold a news conference at 1230 GMT in Baghdad.
