In a bid to offer motorists more flexibility and choice, Tasjeel's Sheikh Zayed Road Center has adopted new, expanded working hours, following pilot tests at the network's Al Ghusais and Al Awir centres two months ago, stated a press release.

The Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Ghusais and Al Awir centers are now open from 7:00 am to 21:00 pm between Saturday and Wednesday and between 7:00 am and 14:00 pm on Thursday.

Tasjeel, the vehicle test and registration service operated by Emirates Petroleum Products Company (EPPCO) in tandem with the Dubai Police, has recently seen a soaring demand exceeding 1,500 vehicles daily, which prompted management to extend working hours at its three busiest outlets.

There are currently 340,000 registered vehicles in Dubai. "This is estimated to triple by 2017, by which time Tasjeel will have further expanded its network to ensure service efficiency is maintained," said Tasjeel Manager, Ayas Bin Hindi. — (menareport.com)
