Tejari Jordan, part of Tejari, a Middle East business-to-business marketplace hosted an exclusive event in Jordan, in partnership with the IT Association of Jordan (int@j) to enhance its relationship with key decision makers in the Kingdom’s ITC sector. At the event, Tejari Jordan’s newest member, Jordan Telecom, demonstrated the effectiveness and benefits of the electronic trading hub.
More than 100 major players from Jordan’s government and private industries attended the event, held recently at the Amman Meridian Hotel, to learn how they can significantly reduce their procurement costs, and eliminate many paper-based administrative expenses while reaching new buyers instantly by joining Tejari Jordan.
At the event, representatives from int@j – which is a voluntary, non-profit, private organization to represent, promote and advance the Jordanian IT services industry in the global market – presented on the current state of online procurement and e-commerce adoption in the country.
Tejari Jordan was launched last August under the patronage of the Jordanian Minster of Information and Communications, Fawaz Zu’bi. As part of a joint venture with Jordan-based Salam International, Tejari Jordan serves the e-procurement needs of both the private and government sectors in Jordan. — (menareport.com)
