Bahrain-based real estate company Tameer has declared plans to develop a $20 billion mixed-use project in Libya, Gulf News reported. Tameer announced the project would include a city of residential and commercial towers, business centres and other facilities on 40 square kilometres in the eastern valley bordering the capital, Tripoli.
The complex will be home to over 500,000 people, with access to schools, universities, hospitals, entertainment centres, clubs and gyms.
