T. Gargour & Fils signs an agreement with TOTAL to become the sole distributor of Elf lubricants in Jordan

The Managing Director of TOTAL Jordan, Mr. Arnaud Guichard, and the Chairman of TGF, Mr. Nadim Gargour, signed an agreement in a celebratory ceremony held at the Gargour Showroom on July 9, 2008. This occasion was marked by the presence of the Executive Vice President  Mediterranean & Middle-East for TOTAL Refining and Marketing, Mr. Francois de Ligniville.


Following the signature of the agreement, Mr. de Ligniville said, “TOTAL is the fourth largest publicly-traded integrated oil and gas company in the world. Our aim is to build successful partnerships and alliances with local entities, in addition to bringing economic and social benefits to the countries that we operate within. We are proud to be joining forces with TGF; a group that has successfully expanded in trading activities over the years, including automotive dealerships. I strongly believe in our long lasting partnership and future success.”

 

Mr. Nadim Gargour, the Chairman of TGF, added, “We are very pleased with this agreement and with being the official distributor of  ELF lubricants in Jordan. Our alliance with TOTAL Jordan, an expert in the lubricants and oils industry and a multinational group, will certainly reap positive results on the long-run. In addition, this partnership will enable us to continue to provide our customers with superior services. We hope to lay the foundation for more cooperation of this nature in the Jordanian market”.
