Syrian Popular Credit Bank has launched the first automatic exchange machine in the country which was placed in al-Hamra Street in Damascus.
Director General of the Bank Mohammed Saleh Kinj told SANA that this service is the first of the electronic payment, adding that "during the next few months four automatic exchange machines will be launched in Damascus and other governorates."
"In cooperation with the Real Estate Bank we issued special cards for using the automatic exchange machine called "Syria Card," he said, clarifying that holders of "Syria Card" can use the Popular Credit Bank in addition to other banks related to the Trade or Real Estate Banks in Syria.
Manager of Technology at the Bank said that that clients will have either golden cards enable them to get about SP25,000 everyday or platinum cards whereby they get S.P50,000. "Visa Card and Master Card are acceptable as well," he added.
