The construction of the Latakia-Ariha highway has recently commenced in Syria. The Kuwaiti Al-Khourafi Group was chosen to build the 98-kilometer long highway by the Ministry of Transportation, reported Al-Baath. The new road will connect the districts of Latakia, Aleppo and Idleb. The Latakia-Ariha highway links the Syrian coastal areas with the internal regions, relieving traffic congestion and enabling easier mobility around the country. — (menareport.com)
