With the high profile launch of the Jordan Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Forum yesterday, September 30, SYNTAX, a strategic design and digital solutions company, has announced the completion of ICT Forum's branding and design project.
SYNTAX was selected last July as the ICT Forum's branding and design partner to provide services including the creation of a corporate design and branding system, information and document design, stage design, signage and advertising design, as well as web site and digital media development.
Over 900 delegates from all over the world have converged in Amman to attend the Jordan ICT Forum, a two-day event held September 30-October 1, 2002. The Forum, Jordan's highest profile technology gathering, is held under the patronage of King Abdullah II and features, amongst others, international speakers such as Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel Corporation and John Gage, Chief Researcher of Sun Microsystems.
The Forum's identity revolves around the tagline "Jordan E-merges", signifying the Kingdom's evolution over the past few years into a dynamic technology destination. The Forum serves as a platform to showcase Jordan's efforts and achievements in building a vibrant industry to develop export-oriented ICT products and services.
The Forum provides a channel through which Jordan's strategic ICT development initiative, REACH, is presented to stakeholders and potential partners. The REACH Initiative, launched in 1999 at the request of King Abdullah II, is a national strategy for Jordan to develop its ICT services sector and outlines opportunities.
It outlines a decisive national plan, assessed and adjusted yearly, specifying actions now being implemented-by the private sector, the government and other stakeholders in order for Jordan to continue to build a thriving knowledge-based economy. Jordan is currently in its third iteration of REACH. — (menareport.com)
