Sudan and Kenya iron out trade dispute

The governments of Sudan and Kenya are closer to ending their long-term trade dispute following a recent ministerial meeting, with representatives from both countries present, reported Xinhua. Sudanese official, Abdallah Idris conducted a five-day fact-finding mission ending today.  

 

The meeting was arranged after Sudan confiscated a number of Kenyan goods, their actual origin in question. The talks led to the release of the exports, which included tires, roofing materials, aluminum products and corn oil. Idris inspect the industries where the goods were being produced and according to Xinhua, his is team was satisfied, adding that his assessment would be reflected in the delegation's report. — (menareport.com)
