DHL International recently marked the first anniversary of its Time Definite Delivery product (TDD) by launching the service to six new countries. Since its introduction in May 2001, more than 500,000 packages have been sent via DHL’s two TDD options – StartDay Express and MidDay Express.
The service achieved success in the Middle East and led to rapid expansion in the area. Now, the time definite delivery service is available for customers shipping to Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia, bringing the total number of markets served by TDD to thirty-eight. All six countries will provide the MidDay service while Switzerland and Poland will offer both StartDay and MidDay Express.
Since its launch in the Kingdom in 2001, the TDD service grew by 360 percent and continues to provide assurance for customers that their urgent documents and packages are delivered no later than 8.00 am the following morning.
