STME has successfully achieved its regional expansion plans and maintained its market position as the leading information infrastructure provider, by winning top clients such as the Mansour Group, National Bank of Egypt and XCEED in Egypt. Moreover, repeat orders from customers including SHUAA Capital, Panasonic, Aggreko, Al Jazeera TV, PWC Logistics, and Gulf News indicate STME’s acclaimed expertise within the Middle East region. In 2005, the company hired resident sales managers in Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Pakistan, while doubling their sales force in its core markets of UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kuwait.

STME’s sales strength has seen a 20 per cent increase in 2005. The company organised its annual sales meeting in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in January 2006, which was attended by leading vendors such as EMC, Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, Symantec, Network Appliance Inc. and ACAL.
STME has been successfully participating in some of the biggest IT events in the region, including Gitex, FT Summit and Storage World Middle East, besides hosting Sanquest, an educational seminar designed for IT professionals responsible for making corporate technology decisions to store, protect and manage organisational data. The company is set participate in Bank Tech Cairo 2006, the international exhibition and conference for banks, insurance and stock exchange technology.
