Spring 2004 Intel Channel Conferences in the Middle East

Intel announced Thursday that its Spring 2004 Intel Channel Conferences for its resellers and system integrators is taking place from April through to June across the Middle East and North Africa region.  

 

In anticipation of new growth opportunities in the technology industry, the Intel Channel Conferences will provide training, networking sessions and third party vendor showcases to help channel programme members ‘Prepare for Take-Off’. The events are expected to reach more than 1,400 companies specialised in systems integration and this year sees the programme expanding in emerging markets. 

 

“There is real excitement that the IT industry is on the cusp of a significant developments and opportunities,” commented Maan Ahmadie, Channel manager for Intel in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. “The reseller channel is of key importance to Intel’s continued success and we want to equip our channel members with the latest knowledge and strategic tools to take full advantage of this period of growth.” 

 

A key focus of this year’s conferences is to highlight to Intel Premier Providers and Intel Product Integrators how Intel can help resellers and system integrators to be successful in their markets with new products, training and marketing programs.  

 

Channel members will gain important insights into major changes in the economic environment, emerging customer needs, new usage models and evolving technologies. Attendees will have access to seminars covering Intel’s key product areas including exciting new desktop technologies, the coming together of wireless networking and new mobile platforms to mobilise business, and selling and integrating the new Intel server platform technologies coming in 2004.
