ALBAWABA - South Korea's exports to China decreased by 28 percent year-on-year to around $38.2 billion in the first quarter of the year.
The figures were obtained by Yonhap News Agency from the General Administration of Customs in China.
South Korea recorded the largest decline in exports to China among the major exporters to the country in the first quarter.
South Korea accounted for about 6.2 percent of China's total imports during the first quarter, down from 8.1 percent during the same period last year.
China's total imports fell by 7 percent year-on-year to $617.12 billion in the same period.
The decline was attributed to a sharp drop in semiconductor shipments and their prices.
