ALBAWABA – Work will begin on the construction of a solar cell factory in Amman worth JOD100 million by the end of the current, the Jordan news agency Petra reported Sunday.
The factory will be built on 130 thousand square meters of land and will reportedly provide 520 job opportunities, according to Petra.

In one of the “Year on Modernization” forum sessions, participants revealed the investment plan to establish the factory south of Amman, southeast of Queen Alia International Airport. The factory is a Jordanian investment and will produce solar power cells to be used as inputs in the manufacturing of solar panels.
