Uber adds one more ride of transportation to its fleet. During the F1 weekend, you’ll be able to request an UberCHOPPER for a helicopter ride from the Atlantis hotel in Dubai to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The service will be provided for three days, from Friday 27th of November to Sunday 29th of November.
To request the helicopter ride, you’ll launch the Uber app on the above mentioned days and select UberCHOPPER. Uber will call you for verification and then send a driver to take you and up to four more friends to the helipad at Atlantis Dubai where you UberCHOPPER will be waiting for you. The ride lasts under thirty minutes and a driver will be waiting for you when you land to take you to the gate on the F1 circuit.
The total cost is AED 2250 per person (about US$ 610) but hey, that’s the price you pay for arriving in style.
