The ferry boat unit of the Public Transport Department of Dubai Municipality has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Signman to build a canopy for Dubai Creek’s ferry boats and earn suitable revenue by providing advertising rights.
The canopy will be fabricated with a canopy using extruded aluminium frame covered with Italian weather–proof canvas cloth. Each canopy will offer signage facility to potential advertisers. Signman will execute the entire project, from building of canopy to generating advertising and developing marketing.
The ferry boat service is the quickest and most convenient method of crossing the creek. In addition to the two routes operating between Al-Sabkha Abra station to Old Souq Abra station in Bur Dubai and from Deira old Souq Abra station to Bur Dubai Abra station there are traditional rowing ferries available from Creek Park and Public Library Abra stations. — (menareport.com)
