Sigma Capital executive elected to CASE board of directors

Cairo-based Sigma Capital has announced that its vice chairman, Ahmad Marwan, has been elected as a member of the board of directors of the Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchange (CASE).  

 

The CASE board of directors is chaired by Sameh Al-Torgoman, who was appointed by a presidential decree, and 10 members, including a Capital Markets Authority representative, a Ministry of Foreign Trade representative, the chairman of Misr for Clearing, Settlement and Central Depository and two representatives for the Union of Egyptian Banks.  

 

Of the five elected members, one represents Alexandria-based securities firms. Elections are held every three years. — (menareport.com)
