The Dubai Quality Group and Shell Dubai & Northern Emirates, joint promoters of the Emirates Businesswomen Award, have announced the appointment of Sikologia Consulting, a local firm headed by a United Arab Emirates (UAE) national, to oversee the selection of the winners of UAE's first major award for businesswomen achievers.
The awards will be presented in two categories in Dubai on April 13, 2003. The deadline for submitting entries has been extended to February 28, to give time for more candidates to enter the fray.
The award is open to business owners as well as professionals. Two categories have been created: Business Owners/Investors and Professionals. The award is open to all nationalities.
The Emirates Businesswomen Award has been instituted by Dubai Quality Group- Professional Women's Subgroup and Royal Dutch Shell to honor business and professional women who have made a significant contribution to business development in the UAE. — (menareport.com)
