The UAE stock markets declined to their lowest levels since July 2005 as shares of Emaar Properties fell 4.57 per cent to Dh17.75.
Apart from Emaar, which shed 23.33 per cent this year, most other stocks in the services sector, abetted the fall with a sharp drop of 5.45 per cent, Khaleej Times reported.
