Saudi shares up eight percent in 2001

Stocks on the Saudi Securities Market experienced an eight percent value increase in 2001, totaling 275.7 billion Saudi Riyals ($73.5 billion), up from SR 254.5 billion ($67.8 billion) in the year 2000, reported the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (Sama).
