According to Al-Yaum newspaper, real estate specialists said that the tactics of the Saudi real estate market has changed similar to the tactics of the Saudi securities market, which is mainly speculation.
The specialists related this change to the fact that many real estate investors had entered the Saudi stock market. Those investors began to buy and sell real estate assets based on speculation which is followed when selling stocks and bills on the securities market. As a result, some of the real estate prices were recently overvalued. The specialists emphasized the importance of re-supervising and re-regulating the Saudi real estate market.
