Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah laid foundation stones for more than SR2 billion worth of development projects at various locations in Al-Baha region Wednesday, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The king opened the Baha University project, which would be set up on a 3-million-square-meter campus.
The first phase of the university, including the construction of the faculties of science, engineering, applied medicine and a community college, is expected to cost SR400 million.
