Demand for prepaid Internet cards in Saudi Arabia has increased dramatically over the past month, following the terror attacks on the US, reported Al-Watan . Saudi markets sources report a 20 percent hike in Internet card fees.
In the aftermath of the recent weeks’ devastating events, people are turning more and more to the various information sources available on the World Wide Web. Web sites and portals across the region report a dramatic increase in hits, and many ISPs are enjoying larger subscriber numbers and increased revenues.
