Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal will deliver the keynote address at a dinner co-sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association and the US-Saudi Arabian Business Council on Monday, April 26, 2004 at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
The dinner will follow a panel discussion on "US-Saudi Arabian Relations" with Saudi Minister of Finance Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Ali-Al-Naimi, president of JP Morgan Chase International, Sir Andrew Crockett, vice chairman of ChevronTexaco, Peter Robertson and will be moderated by vice chairman, Merrill Lynch, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Brian C. McK Henderson.
The Forum comes at a significant time when many wonder how rising oil prices will impact US-Saudi relations, how the United States and Saudi Arabia will work together to overcome the current situation in Iraq and the future of OPEC.
The US-Saudi Arabian Business Council was established in December 1993 to improve the mutual knowledge and understanding between the private sectors of the United States and Saudi Arabia, and to promote and facilitate increased trade and investment between the two countries. The Council also seeks to create awareness of the opportunities for small and medium sized businesses in both countries. — (menareport.com)
