Saudi embargo lifted on Sudanese meat

The Saudi Ministry of Commerce recently lifted the embargo on sheep and goat meat imports from Sudan, reported Al-Hayat . The embargo was imposed at the end of the year 2000, following the spread of Foot and Mouth disease. The ministry also reported that Sudan was committed to meet all standard specifications and conditions while exporting canned, frozen and fresh meat products. — (menareport.com)
