According to Al-Khaleej newspaper (December 4, 2005), Muhammad Al-Husseini, Deputy General Manager of the Riyadh Exhibition Company (REC), said that the construction market in the Middle East region in general and in Saudi Arabia in particular had witnessed impressive growth rates over the past two years. The Saudi construction market grew by 58% annually. The specialist estimated at SR 70 billion the Saudi building projects volume per annum.
