The Saudi cabinet recently decided to renew the customs exemption granted to Palestinian imports upon entrance into the Kingdom for another year, transferring the responsibility of cost of exporting onto the Saudi government, reported Al-Watan. The Saudi Treasury Ministry and National Economy requested the cabinet to renew the customs exemption, which is scheduled to end in March 2002. — (menareport.com)
