Saudi Arabia’s inflation declined 0.6% year-on-year in April, according to Saudi Arabia's Central Department of Statistics.
The consumer price index (CPI) reached 136.8 points, compared to 137.6 points in the previous period, showing a drop in consumer prices year-on-year for the fourth month in a row.
Inflation went down 0.1% month-on-month in April.
Telecom prices rose 2.5% year-on-year in April, followed by education, and miscellaneous goods and services at 1.8% and 1.5%, respectively.
On the flipside, food and beverage prices fell 2.6%, followed by transportation and restaurants and hotels at 2.2% and 1.4%, respectively.
