According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, Mohammed Al Khazmi, Secretary General of the Arab Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development, said that the value of Greece's exports to the UAE amounted to $259.7 million in 2005, a 113% rise compared with the previous year. He added that Saudi Arabia is the largest Arab exporter country to Greece. Saudi Arabia's exports to Greece increased to $1.214 billion in 2005, up from $886.7 million in the previous year, a 36% growth.
