Real estate developers in Saudi Arabia complain that regulations are leading to the loss of financing in this field. According to Arab ANdews, one result is that many Saudi citizens prefer to invest their money in real estate projects in neighboring Dubai.
Recent scandals have reduced investor confidence and interest in local real estate projects even though investors appreciate that the Saudi Ministry of Commerce has adopted a step toward regulating and monitoring the sector, the newspaper added.
