The President of the Saudi Telecommunication Company, Khaled Abdullah Al-Melhem, revealed that Saudi Arabia intends to privatize the local telecommunication sector. Privatization was already executed in several sectors in Saudi Arabia, with 25 Internet service providers now in the Kingdom, reported Al-Bayan . Internet service prices dropped by 70-80 percent and oversea rates declined by 60-70 percent.
