The Saudi ministry of commerce has suspended all permits for real estate investment projects in the kingdom until it reviews the regulations and declares new ones that will protect the rights of both developers and investors, Khaleej Times reported. According to sources within the ministry, a special committee has been set up to discuss the issue and will need a few more months to come up with recommendations.
