Saudi Arabia and Syria recently approved an accord to establish a bilateral free trade zone. The Saudi Undersecretary of Economic Affairs, Yussuf Saadon, and the Syrian representative in the Saudi capital, Mahmoud Abdul-Karim, approved the agreement in Riyadh, reported Al-Hayat . The bilateral free trade zone accord is expected to strengthen economic and commercial ties between both countries through lifting customs obstacles imposed on the exchange of merchandise of national origin. — (menareport.com)
