Saudi Arabia airlifts more emergency aid to Algeria

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, November 20 flew 50 tons of food, tents and medicines to Algeria where killer storms left 733 people dead, the official Saudi Press Agency reported. 

 

Under the instructions of King Fahd, a first planeload of 60 tons of aid for Algeria was dispatched on Sunday. Another 170 people are missing in the storms that hit the North African state on November 9 and 1O. — (AFP, Riyadh)
