Saudi Air purchases 104 Powerheart AEDs from Cardiac Science

Cardiac Science, a developer and manufacturer of life-saving, automated public access defibrillators (AEDs), announced that Saudi Arabian Airlines purchased 104 Powerheart Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for installation and use in its fleet of commercial airliners.  

 

The Saudi airline joins the growing number of national and international carriers currently outfitting their passenger airplanes with life-saving AED equipment. Saudi Air placed this order to equip its entire fleet of commercial passenger planes. Earlier Saudi Air purchased and placed AEDs for use on its Royal Fleet, which serves the Saudi royal family and other dignitaries. Training and deployment are expected to begin immediately.
