An innovative research project, aiming to explore underground water through satellite images, will be jointly conducted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) and the Boston University.
According to a UAE official, quoted by the authority's monthly magazine Anwar, an agreement had recently been signed between SEWA and the Boston University, targeting the project’s completion within three years.
The project will create a modern digital and geographical database to plan future underground water projects. — (MENA Report)
