As part of efforts to activate SAPO's AGCC presence, its franchise office in Kuwait started full operations in May 2000.
SAPO's clients can now take advantage of the complete range of service originally provided only via SAPO Dubai, from the SAPO Kuwait office, which is open 24 hours per day. The company indicated that the new offices were strategically established in Kuwait to expand to the AGCC market.
Established in 1984 and head-quartered in Athens, Greece, SAPO International SA established the SAPO franchise company for the Middle East region. Originally involved in real estate and financial markets, the "ultimate in luxury services" later diversified with SAPO Car Rentals, Dubai, into Luxury Car, yacht, jet Rentals/leases and travel consultants. The new, private SAPO Luxury Airline service is the first to introduce the Airbus Corporate Jetliner for private charter in the UAE.
