Samsung Electronics has announced the winners of its online football promotion. The event, which kicked-off in early May, required participants to predict the winning team at the football tournament being played in South Korea and Japan. Samsung chose six winners through a draw of 2,900 entries received.
The grand prize of the competition was the recently launched Samsung 62-inches Projection TV, which was won by an Egyptian contestant. The remaining five winners received the company's path-breaking SGH-T100 colour LCD mobile phones.
