The Moroccan branch of the Saudi Coral Oil Group, the Samir Company, announced that it has established a holding company in Morocco for the marketing of oil products, reported Al-Hayat. The new Somirgy Company will market oil derivative products as of January 2002. The Samir Company will possess 40 percent Somirgy’s shares, while the remaining 60 percent will belong to the Somibi Fuel Company. — (menareport.com)
