Information technology (IT) solutions developer Sakhr, has recently entered into collaboration with global IT leaders such as Microsoft and Intel in a bid to give a new edge to its pioneering Arabic language solutions by integrating them with the best and the latest platforms.
The collaboration agreements reflect the top international IT players' strategy to integrate ready-made Arabic technologies on their platforms, in order to provide comprehensive Arabic solutions to the end-users.
Sakhr Software Company was founded in Kuwait in 1982, and was relocated in Cairo in 1990. The company develops software specifically tailored to the needs of the Arabic market and Arabic language users. It has developed technologies that have had a strong impact on the Arabic IT industry.
The company has also pioneered a new generation of Arabic Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies. Sakhr was also behind the successful introduction of the world's first Arabic to English, English to Arabic, online Machine Translation engine which is licensed to Ajeeb.
