The Saudi Petrochemicals Company (Sadaf) is expected to award an electricity generation station building project tender to the private sector during the first half of the current year, reported Al Hayat. The tender consists of building an electricity generation station for Sadaf in the Jubeil Industrial Estate based on the BOT system with a capacity of 200 megawatts. Two major consortiums are competing over this tender, the first consortium consists of the American CMC and the Saudi Al-Zamil Group and a second consortium consists of the American Enron and the Saudi Zaynal Company. — (menareport.com)
