Videos showing how devastating these glide bombs can be, showing how they can completely destroy civilian areas close to Donetsk, have been circulated by Russian military bloggers. Because of their terrible effects, military experts caution that these bombs are starting to replace other weapons in Russia's arsenal.
The former British military attaché in Moscow, John Foreman, emphasized the glide bombs' cost-effectiveness and destructive potency while pointing out that Ukraine finds it difficult to defend against them. Russia's innovative approach is indicative of their flexible tactics in combat.
