Russia okays pacts with Egypt following visit

Russia's Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov has issued an edict that gives an official stamp of approval to a series of agreements with Egypt, concluded last week during the visit to Moscow by President Hosni Mubarak, reported the Novosti news agency. 

 

The agreements aim to increase cooperation between the two countries in areas of trade, industry and technology. According to Novosti , one of the agreement involves the participation of Egyptian and Russian organizations in jointly planning and creating industrial, agricultural and farming institutions. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
