Reichle and De-Massari (R&M), the Swiss cabling specialist announced today it is witnessing strong sales figures and increasing market share in Egypt despite the cautious outlook affecting the market. The company attributes its growth trend to its advanced future proof product portfolio and market reputation.
R&M’s primary focus is among high-end users, and now has a market share exceeding 30% in the high end segment. The company has been in the local Egyptian market for five years and has since established solid relations with major enterprises including hospitals, banks, oil and gas companies.

R&M has been actively cooperating with one of the leading telecom companies in Egypt since 2000 as well as the GSM operators for the past five years, and has appointed Mr. Ahmed Abu El Naga as key account manager for public networks, Africa, for more focus on this fast growing sector.
While R&M has seen certain industry verticals affected by the financial crisis, its extensive product portfolio for a wide range of industries has enabled R&M to achieve strong sales growth despite a slowdown in certain sectors.
