A recently publicized report by the Inter-Arab Investment Guarantee Corporation, a pan-Arab regional organization which specializes in promoting inter-Arab investments and trade, ranked the UAE as the largest pan-Arab investments exporter country. The UAE contributed 33.5% of the total exported pan-Arab investments in 2004.
Meanwhile, the same report ranked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the largest pan-Arab investments absorber country. Saudi Arabia received $1,297 million worth of pan-Arab investments in 2004, which is equivalent to 22% of the total pan-Arab investments in 2004.
