Rents in Abu Dhabi, which have risen by as much as 37 per cent over the last 12 months, are inclined to go up even further this year fuelled by near 100 per cent rate in apartment occupancy, according to real estate industry sources, cited by Khaleej Times.

There has been an average hike in rents of Dh5,000 to Dh10,000 for one, two and three-bedroom apartments in the capital during the first quarter of this year as compared to the last three months of 2004.
