Based on the Income Tax Authority’s need for one centralized database for Egypt's taxpayers, Raya recently delivered the 3.7 million Egyptian pound ($618,987) automation project for the Income Tax authority to the Ministry of Finance.

Accessible from all locations, the database deployed by Raya will archive taxpayer profiles and historical records. This in turn will contribute to efficient payment tracking and prevention of record duplication.

According to Managing Director of Raya Integration Ibrahim Sarhan, the project covers the automation of the authority's headquarters in addition to 13 managerial offices and all of its branches across Egypt which exceed 200 in number.

The project's integrated solution includes Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity in addition to connectivity between the headquarter and the major branches through Raya’s public data network which covers the major cities across the nation. Raya’s strong project management and after-sales support for the latest technologies further fortify the solution which is based on Cisco networking, HP hardware and Microsoft software.

Based in Cairo, Raya is in the field of IT and telecommunications in the Middle East. Through its branches in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its partners in the region, Raya provides technological solutions and value-added services. The company has succeeded in introducing several mega-projects in the fields of finance, industry, telecommunications, government and different services. — (menareport.com)
