The Raya Group has entered several strategic alliances to market its services and software programs in Africa and to market professional and consulting services in the Levant region. The company is currently studying other markets in the region and looking for ways to cooperate with the local companies there.

Raya had previously succeeded in winning contracts for projects in Africa and the Middle East and delivering several of them. Such projects include Central Bank of Syria and the mobile phone services company Syriatel in Syria, Central Bank of Jordan and the mobile phone services company Fastlink for mobile phone services in Jordan, installation and training on Oracle E-business applications and a project in the mobile phone services company Djezzi in Algeria, and other projects in information technology and telecommunications in Tunisia and Morocco.

This regional expansion aims at creating greater opportunities for growth through the export of professional services expertise that Raya's subsidiaries acquired throughout the past years in large sophisticated projects in the various sectors of the Egyptian market, of which the banking, manufacturing, petroleum, telecommunications and the e-government are the most important sectors.

According to the Director of International Operations in Raya Holding, Tarek Zidan declared that in the coming period, Raya will focus on utilizing its channels in the region to export services such as development and implementation of applications, professional services to establish information systems, outsourcing, in addition to consultancy in the field of call center management.

Raya Holding and its subsidiaries, located in Cairo, are active in the field of Information Technology (IT) and telecommunications in the Middle East. Through a group of employees of around 1,000 professionals, Raya Holding and its affiliates provide technological solutions and world-standard value-added services.

The Company was incorporated in 1999. It succeeded in introducing several mega-projects in the fields of finance, industry, telecommunications, government and different services. — (menareport.com)
