General Manager of the Diplomat Radisson Hotel in Bahrain, Heimo Leitgeb highlighted the need for the Kingdom's tourism infrastructure blueprint to be expanded with clearly defined time schedules for projects, stated a press release. He envisions Bahrain focusing on inbound tourism efforts targeting both Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) family tourism and international leisure travelers.
"In Bahrain we currently enjoy Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, Kuwait and Qatar as our key audiences, we are also in the enviable position of being highly accessible to Upper Gulf visitors,” said the Leitgeb.
Radisson Hotels & Resorts operates Middle and Near East properties in Amman, Aqaba, Bahrain, Baku, Istanbul, Kuwait, Muscat and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. Three more Egyptian properties in Taba, Hurghada and Al Quesir are due on line soon.
